Mr Habben Jansen began his career at Royal Nedlloyd before joining Danzas, the Swiss logistics firm, which merged with DHL in 1999. He was Head of Global Customer Solutions at DHL from 2006 until joining Damco as Chief Executive Officer in 2009, leaving in 2014 to join Hapag-Lloyd. He is a Dutch citizen and graduated from Rotterdam’s Erasmus University in 1991 with a degree in Economics.

Kenni Skotte | Vice President & Head of Ocean Network Product | Maersk

Kenni Skotte has been with Maersk since 2004 and was appointed Head of Ocean Network Product in February 2023.

Prior to this he has held different commercial and operational leadership roles in Africa, USA and in Denmark. Most recently, he was Vice President & Head of Network & Market, North-South (2020-2023)

He holds a degree from Copenhagen Business School, within Business Administration / Management Accounting and Process Management.

He is married and has 3 children.


Yi Yin | Category Lead - Global Sea Freight | The Kraft Heinz Company

Yi is the global category lead for sea freight at the Kraft Heinz Company, based in Amsterdam, the Netherland.

She has over 10 years' experience in supply chain and procurement. At Kraft Heinz, her role mainly focuses on logistics sourcing, including inland transportation, warehouse, and ocean freight.

Yi holds degrees in engineering, supply chain management and project management.

Jeffrey van Haeften | Senior Vice President Cargo Commercial Worldwide | Emirates SkyCargo

Jeffrey Robin van Haeften is a distinguished professional with a robust background in the fields of leadership and business development. His educational journey includes notable highlights such as completing the Orchestrating Winning Performance program at IMD Lausanne, engaging in the Global Business Consortium at the London Business School, and participating in the Leadership Development Program at Nyenrode Business University. 

In his current role as the Senior Vice President of Cargo Commercial Worldwide at Emirates SkyCargo, Jeffrey is responsible for driving the commercial vision and strategy for the cargo division and showcases his exceptional leadership skills on a global scale.  Jeffrey has over 5 years of experience leading commercial teams in the air cargo industry. He has in-depth knowledge of global supply chain management, distribution channels, and commercial cargo strategy.   

At Emirates SkyCargo, Jeffrey leads a global team focused on developing customer relationships and partnerships to drive incremental revenue. He provides strategic direction to ensure revenue targets are met across all regions.  Jeffrey also oversees the implementation of processes to identify and evaluate new business opportunities to support Emirates SkyCargo's expansion. He is focused on increasing market share and optimizing Emirates' positioning in the air cargo market globally. 

His previous roles at Emirates SkyCargo, including VP The Americas, VP Europe & Global Sales, and VP Global Sales, demonstrate his extensive experience and expertise in the aviation industry. Prior to his tenure at Emirates, Jeffrey held key positions at CEVA Logistics and DHL Global Forwarding, where he contributed significantly to areas such as product and solution design, tender review, tradelane budgeting, and integrated trade management. His responsibilities also extended to partnership building with carriers and forwarders, actively steering global results, and coordinating freight management on a global level. 

Fluent in English and Dutch, with moderate proficiency in German, Jeffrey's interests include family, skiing, and traveling. His diverse skill set and commitment to excellence have played a pivotal role in his successful career trajectory.  

Patrik Berglund | CEO & Co-Founder | Xeneta

Patrik Berglund is the CEO and Co-Founder of Oslo-based Xeneta, the leading ocean and air freight rate benchmarking and market analytics platform transforming the shipping and logistics industry with data analytics.

Berglund, a logistics and tech-enthusiast, possesses a true passion for modernizing business processes related to logistics procurement and the supply chain. He has in-depth logistics and transportation experience from several years at Kuehne + Nagel in various roles and also as Co-Founder of Nordilog, a logistics consultancy firm.

Founded in 2012, Berglund has grown Xeneta to be the top worldwide source comparing shipping rates against the market average, market highs and lows, ultimately transforming companies’ logistics procurement with actionable data intelligence. Bettina Paschke leads ESG Accounting, Reporting & Controlling, at DHL Express a division of DHL Group. In her role, she is responsible for ESG, including, EU Taxonomy Reporting, and Carbon Accounting. She has more than 20 years’ experience in Finance.

In her role she is driving the Sustainable Aviation Fuel agenda at DHL Express and is engaged in various industry initiatives to allow reliable book-and-claim transactions.

Sami Nazar | Category Manager International Transportation | Decathlon

Sami Nazar is a French and Lebanese nationality and father of two children. He has a strong track record in strategic positions in Marketing, Industrial Procurement and Supply Chain. In addition, Sami has the entrepreneurial spirit being marked by his passion, his optimism and his desire to make things better.

Sami holds an MBA from ESCP/ESA and a BBA from Lancaster University. He has full time work experience in Lebanon, Egypt, France and Singapore. In 2006, he started his professional career in marketing at L’Oréal in Beirut. After gaining 6 years’ experience in FMCG and cosmetic industry; he moved to Cairo and established his own Below the Line advertising company.

After enjoying a successful entrepreneurial experience of 2 years and the “Egyptian Revolution”; he changed to the Sporting Goods Industry and joined DECATHLON. In 2012, he took over the responsibility of strategic buyer in the industrial division until 2015. Since 9 years, Sami has been the Category Manager of International Transportation at Decathlon, a fast growing company that generated more than 18 billion euros turnover in 2023.

Markus Panhauser | CEO for Germany and Switzerland | DHL Global Forwarding

Markus Panhauser is the CEO for Germany and Switzerland at DHL Global Forwarding, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in the logistics and forwarding industry. Previously within DHL, he served as Senior Vice President of Ocean Freight for Europe for DHL Global Forwarding, where he transformed the Ocean Freight business of DHL Europe into a high-performance organization. Prior to this he served in Top Management positions in Kuehne + Nagel and Fr. Meyer´s Sohn.

Markus is known for developing successful company and product strategies, implementing effective procurement and pricing structures. Collaborating with his dynamic team, he has crafted effective route development strategies and established efficient procurement and pricing frameworks. His career highlights include leading organizational transformation efforts, initiating entry into new vertical markets, and creating sustainable growth, all while leveraging his extensive operational expertise.

Peter Sand | Chief Analyst | Xeneta

Peter Sand joined Xeneta in 2021, as the Chief Analyst. Heading a team that delivers expert insights on container shipping and air cargo industries - from a logistics perspective. Focus on the essential drivers, demand and supply - an obviously the freight rates that impacts us all.

Sand joined Xeneta after over a decade at BIMCO, where he was responsible for analysing commercial markets based on the global economic situation and its influence on trade. Prior to Sand’s Chief Shipping Analyst role at BIMCO, he worked with D/S NORDEN, a Danish shipping company operating in the dry cargo and tanker segments worldwide, as a Senior Analyst.

Throughout his career, Sand has been regarded for his widely read articles and industry insights, as well as his regular appearances on global news networks such as CNN, BBC, CNBC and Bloomberg. He holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Eager to share insights, Sand is also:

- A widely used keynote speaker at shipping industry events. Setting the scene, with his perspectives on the global industry today and in future.

Michael Amri | Global Sea Freight Business Development Manager | Hellmann Worldwide Logistics

Since October 2022 Michael Amri signs responsible for the global Seafreight Business Development at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

He looks back on 30 years of profound experience in logistics: Back in 1990 he started his career at Hellmann, one of the leading global logistics companies, headquartered in Germany. Initially he worked in the Seafreight Operations Management to then move on to the Sales Division where he last worked in the Seafreight Key Accounts department.

In 2004, Michael Amri moved to the US where he took over and strategically expanded the national Sales department before returning to Germany to lead the European Seafreight Team.

Before taking on his current position, Michael Amri has been appointed in 2016 as Global Head of Sea Freight FCL – a position in which he focused primarily on the optimization and global standardization of Hellmann ́s trade lane management, procurement and pricing.

Amanda Rasmussen is Global Head of Order Management Solutions (OMS) at DHL Global Forwarding. With over 25 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, she oversees operations, sales strategy, solution development, and implementation for OMS globally.

Amanda has held leadership positions in North America, Europe, and Asia, driving innovation and operational excellence across the respective regions.  Additionally, she has held leadership positions at Maersk, Indo Trans Logistics, and Expeditors, and has a strong background in air and ocean forwarding.

Niall van de Wouw is chief airfreight officer at Xeneta. Previously he was the managing director and co-founder of CLIVE Data Services, which was acquired by Xeneta in January 2022.

Niall has more than 30 years of experience in the air cargo industry, which started off with building pallets during his university days. Previously he worked at Seabury Cargo Advisory, Jeppesen (a Boeing subsidiary) and KLM Cargo.

Andrea is Senior Vice President QHSE & Sustainability at JAS Worldwide, an American non-asset 3PL based in Atlanta, GA.

She has over 20 years’ experience in Logistics and started in operational Freight Forwarding, Key Account Management for different Vertical Markets and Corporate Strategy.

She worked in the field of Green Logistics since 2007.

Andrea is focused on sustainable growth and business transformation by considering the whole logistics ecosystem and stakeholders as customers, strategic suppliers, and employees. This includes all ESG aspects as evolving regulations, human rights and risk managemens as well as the JAS Green Solutions portfolio in line with the company strategy.

Chris is a versatile and affiliative leader with more than 30 years of operational and commercial experience across shipping, freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain management. Over these years, he has gained a wealth of knowledge in organisational transformation, change management, direct sales and strategic execution.

Chris has been the Global SVP Ocean Freight at DP World Logistics for over a year now, managing and driving ocean freight strategies and solutions for its logistics customers. Prior to DP World, he worked with CEVA Logistics, leading major transformation across the organisation and its Global Integration Management Office. Chris also served as the Managing Director for Kuehne + Nagel AB in Sweden and worked in various capacities for the organisation to develop their marketing and sales division. He is a highly resilient leader with an ability to drive up performance and bottom-line results.

Chris holds a Master of Science degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Aston University.

Wolfgang Lehmacher is a global independent senior expert, board member, executive adviser, and supply chain and logistics practitioner. The former head of supply chain and transport industries at the World Economic Forum, Geneva and New York, and President and CEO Emeritus of GeoPost Intercontinental, Paris and Hong Kong, is an advisory board member of The Logistics and Supply Chain Management Society, Singapore, Ambassador of The European Freight and Logistics Leaders’ Forum, Brussels, advisor of RISE, Research Institutes of Sweden, and GlobalSF, San Francisco, and a founding member of the think tanks Logistikweisen, Germany, and NEXST, Singapore.

Bjorn Vang Jensen | Founder & CEO | Nanooq Management Consultancies

A 1988-graduate of the A.P. Møller/Maersk Shipping School, Bjorn spent well more than half of his life in international supply chain, living in Denmark, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, the US, and the United Arab Emirates.

As a service provider, Bjorn worked in management roles within vessel- and terminal operations, warehouse management, sales, key account management, and logistics network design for Maersk Line, Thyssen Haniel Logistics, Exel (now DHL Global Supply Chain) and TNT Logistics (now Ceva).

 As a shipper and advisor, Bjorn was for 15 years the VP of Global Logistics in the Electrolux Group, followed by a 2-year engagement with Sea-Intelligence, where he helped to establish Sea-Intelligence Advisory Services.

Following an engagement as an advisor to Cummins Inc., Bjorn assumed full time employment with Cummins as Executive Director, International Transport for a year and a half.

He now heads his own company, Nanooq Management Consultancies, focusing on all matters international logistics. He is based in Dubai.

Bjorn is a very experienced supply chain practitioner, whose background spans all aspects of the supply chain, including forecasting, S&OP, supply chain design, modelling and re-engineering, warehouse management, transport management, customs clearance, project logistics, ocean freight, air freight, courier services, and consolidation.

Bjorn is Danish, 59 years old and a father of 3. In his spare time, he is a voracious reader, an avid diver, an average golfer, and a decent amateur chef.

Marco is a supply chain veteran with over 20 years of experience in finance and business roles within the e2e envelope of the value chain. From factories, strategic roles over inventory and cash flow to logistics, he spent his professional life in the high-tech industry leading organisations to financial and operational success with a big focus on strategic development. In his current role at Microsoft, he is responsible to develop a logistic network that balances the 3 C’s (Carbon, Cost, Cycle T). He owns all the commercials, data  & business operations for Cloud Logistics.

Conor Brannigan | Vice President, Strategy | Atlas Air

With a career spanning 18 years in the aviation and air cargo industry, Conor has consistently demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership. His journey began with roles in cargo sales and business analysis at Aer Lingus, where he honed his analytical skills and developed a deep understanding of the air cargo market.  He then progressed to positions of increasing responsibility at Etihad Airways and Cargolux Airlines International, focusing on strategic alliances, market development, and network planning.

Conor's leadership acumen was further solidified during his tenure as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Magma Aviation.  He successfully managed a fleet of Boeing 747 freighter aircraft, directed a team of professionals, and oversaw a substantial financial budget. His responsibilities encompassed all facets of the business, from operations and commercial activities to finance, legal, and compliance.

Currently, Conor serves as Vice President of Strategy at Atlas Air, where he defines and champions the company's long-term vision.  He spearheads mergers and acquisitions, analyzes market dynamics to identify new opportunities, and cultivates strong relationships with key stakeholders. Throughout his career, Conor has consistently driven growth and success, demonstrating a keen ability to adapt to the ever-evolving aviation landscape.

Shubham has 20 years of experience in the Technology industry and has worked for a range of companies including STMicroelectronics, Samsung and Philips.

Originally from India, he has lived in France and Belgium before finally settling down near the fjords in Oslo for the last 8 years.

Before jumping into a professional career, he graduated with an engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunications. Thereafter, 10 years later, went back to the classroom to pursue a full-time M.B.A in Strategy at HEC Paris.At Xeneta, Shubham is a Lead Product Manager, working on the Ocean platform. As a passionate product leader, he believes in building products that are not just incrementally better, but fundamentally different.

At Xeneta, he strives to deliver personalised insights to customers, helping them in their journey of faster decision making.

Emily Stausbøll is a Senior Analyst at Xeneta focusing on the dynamics of the container trade. This involves understanding the macro-economic picture, the nuances of supply and demand and how this all plays out on ocean freight rates.

Emily joined Xeneta in 2021 having previously spent several years in market analysis at BIMCO and holds a degree in International Shipping and Trade from Copenhagen Business School.In her work as an analyst Emily regularly contributes to and appears on global news networks such as BBC, CNBC, Financial Times and Bloomberg.

Deputy Secretary General Lars Robert Pedersen is responsible for BIMCO’s technical and operational activities involving all technical
and nautical issues within the area of marine environment, ship safety and maritime security. Lars Robert is furthermore responsible BIMCO’s activity related to regulatory developments relevant for shipping at international, regional and national levels.

In the past decade he has served on IMO expert groups on market-based measures and on
the steering group for the IMO 2020 fuel oil availability study. Lars Robert has also chaired
the Motorship Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference for the past 6 years.

He joined BIMCO in early 2010 after a long
career at A.P. Moller-Maersk (APMM). For more
than 25 years he was involved in regulatory
affairs at IMO level, technical management of the Maersk fleet of container ships and prior to that as seagoing engineer officer. Lars Robert holds an unlimited Chief Engineers license.

Annukka Partanen is a supply chain professional with 26 years’ experience. She currently manages LyondellBasell’s global ocean container freight contracting and oversees European freight forwarding service procurement. She is also leading transportation sustainability efforts at LyondellBasell’s supply chain in Europe.

She holds a master’s degree of Economics from her studies at University of Oulu, Finland and Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She has recently completed Sustainable Supply Chain Management studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Stavros Evangelakakis has 35 years’ experience in the air cargo industry working in various departments at Cargolux. Evangelakakis has held previous roles in export, reservations, sales, marketing, and cooperating marketing. Before his current title of Global Product Manager for Healthcare/Perishables, Evangelakakis was sales Manager in Europe, M East, and Central Asia for 9 years, he also held positions in Marketing and Reservations.

Over the past 18 years, Evangelakakis has become very familiar with the transportation of healthcare products and has been the link between commercial and operations within Cargolux.

He has been active part developing with Dupont the aircraft thermal cover, and with the cross-divisional team of Cargolux to accomplish GDP certification, developing the Active/Passive container business, and ensuring his input was heard when the GHA Luxaircargo built the Healthcare center.

He is also the Chairman of the Cool Chain Association, personally and on behalf of the CCA he has a “dream” to create a standard for the Perishables using airfreight similar to the Pharma standard.

Also creates awareness about food waste and shows the world that airfreight is doing its bid to reduce waste.

He is fascinated about temperature capabilities along the air cargo supply chain, temperature is an art, and if we all do our job properly along the supply chain we would have already fewer challenges.

Amongst his normal duties, he wants to create awareness about the last-mile delivery of pharmaceutical products.

In previous roles he was program manager of The Sustainable Flight Challenge for KLM, and is responsible for laying the foundation for the AFKL Cargo SAF program.

He joined AFKL 2019 as Management Trainee. During this period, Michiel worked on several assignments. At Inflight Services, he conducted research on the knowledge level of crew and passengers about sustainability. After that, he laid the foundation for the AFKL Cargo SAF program.

He looks back on 30 years of profound experience in logistics: Back in 1990 he started his career at Hellmann, one of the leading global logistics companies, headquartered in Germany. Initially he worked in the Seafreight Operations Management to then move on to the Sales Division where he last worked in the Seafreight Key Accounts department.

In 2004, Michael Amri moved to the US where he took over and strategically expanded the national Sales department before returning to Germany to lead the European Seafreight Team.

Before his current title of Global Product Manager for Healthcare/Perishables, Evangelakakis was sales Manager in Europe, M East, and Central Asia for 9 years, he also held positions in Marketing and Reservations.

Over the past 18 years, Evangelakakis has become very familiar with the transportation of healthcare products and has been the link between commercial and operations within Cargolux.

He has been active part developing with Dupont the aircraft thermal cover, and with the cross-divisional team of Cargolux to accomplish GDP certification, developing the Active/Passive container business, and ensuring his input was heard when the GHA Luxaircargo built the Healthcare center.

He is also the Chairman of the Cool Chain Association, personally and on behalf of the CCA he has a “dream” to create a standard for the Perishables using airfreight similar to the Pharma standard.

Also creates awareness about food waste and shows the world that airfreight is doing its bid to reduce waste.

He is fascinated about temperature capabilities along the air cargo supply chain, temperature is an art, and if we all do our job properly along the supply chain we would have already fewer challenges.

Amongst his normal duties, he wants to create awareness about the last-mile delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Initially he worked in the Seafreight Operations Management to then move on to the Sales Division where he last worked in the Seafreight Key Accounts department.

Since September 2022, Michiel has been serving as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Vice President of AFKL Cargo, and he is also the Strategic Sustainability Lead for Cargo. In previous roles he was program manager of The Sustainable Flight Challenge for KLM, and is responsible for laying the foundation for the AFKL Cargo SAF program.

He joined AFKL 2019 as Management Trainee. During this period, Michiel worked on several assignments. At Inflight Services, he conducted research on the knowledge level of crew and passengers about sustainability. After that, he laid the foundation for the AFKL Cargo SAF program.

He then served as a team manager in the cargo operation and gained commercial experience at KLM Netherlands. Ultimately, he became program manager of The Sustainable Flight Challenge for KLM.
